Seminar Objectives: The Medication Aide in-service is designed to satisfy the 7 hours in- service education requirement, which is part of the renewal process as specified at 40TAC chapter 95 and in the program regulations. The purpose of the in- service is to maintain and enhance the competency of Permitted Medication Aides to administer medications as specified at and 40 TAC Chapter 95, Medication Aide and to protect the health and welfare of facility residents
Admission requirement: Candidate must:
- Be at least 18years of age
- Have a valid state identification and social security card
- Be free of communicable disease and is physically and emotionally fit to administer medication safely
- Have a current Medication Aide Certification
In-service education must be competed three to four months before the permit expiration date.

Certificate of completion: Students will receive a certificate of completion upon satisfactory completion of the class with a minimum score 70% from each module

The building is climate-controlled to maintain an environment conducive to learning, and ample parking is available for students.
